3BView London Launch

3BView recently sponsored a prestigious event at London Capital Club. Over 20 global players in banking, insurance and investment attended the event in London, hosted by Information Security Solutions.
Keynote speaker, The Earl of Erroll, gave guests a fascinating insight into issues surrounding document security based on his work in Parliament. He plays an active role in several ICT groups, especially those looking at regulatory issues involving Communications, the Internet, Personal Identity and Government Data Sharing, linking this with a Local Authority perspective as a board member through his work on the board of LASSeO (The Local Authority Smartcard Standards e-Organisation).

3BView’s CEO, Cathy Brode, informed guests about political and commercial scandals caused by accidental information leaks on email and how the company’s software could have prevented them. A lively debate of the issues surrounding metadata and information leak prevention then followed.

Cathy said, “Following the success of our recent launch event in Liverpool, it was great to see national and international businesses and organisations represented, such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and the BBC. Since the event we are delighted to say that three companies have signed up to use a version of 3BClean.”

Other guests included Endeavour Ventures, who alongside Merseyside Special Investment Fund, have backed St. Helens based 3BView.
